How
It Works:

*
Completed Mural for
New Jersey Women and Children's Shelter
• Prior
to the event, Art Nest will outline and color-code designs onto a series
of 18” x 18” canvases that when put together will create a
cohesive mural.
• Participainters are then invited to paint the artwork and let
their creativity run wild
•
Each workshop is facilitated by a Registered Art Therapist who is available
to ensure a successful experience for everyone involved. Art Therapists
are mental health professionals that use the creativeprocess of art
making to improve and enhance the physical, mental and emotional well-being
of individuals of all ages.
• Workshops are scaled to the number of “Participainters”
involved. Each 18” x 18” canvas allows 2-3 Participainters
to work together simultaneously.
• Every mural is custom-designed and can range in size from 4
to 24 canvases.
• Once the workshop is completed, Therapeutic Art Consultants
touch up the paintings as necessary, sign them to acknowledge the donating
organization, and facilitate donation to an in-need facility.

For Corporations:
Participaint
workshops are excellent opportunities to promote team building,
reduce workplace stress, and give back to the community – all
with minimal disruption to the work day.
Employees are invited to paint during a scheduled painting time or they
can paint throughout the day as time permits. Break rooms, cafeterias,
and lobbies are excellent settings for Participainting. Most
importantly the artwork created will provide a lifetime of inspiration
to those who need it most!
NO ARTISTIC EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY!
